I believe the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person's dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored.

I believe government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn.

I believe the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations and that the best government is that which governs least.

I believe the most effective, responsible and responsive government is the government closest to the people.

I believe Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times.

I believe Americans value and should preserve our national strength and pride while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world.

I am pro-life with an exception for cases when the Mother's life is danger of being lost due to physical reasons (I do NOT view "mental health"as a reason to have an abortion PERIOD) Abortion is murder, life is not a mistake. Abortion and physician-assisted suicide cheapen human life. Doctors are sworn to protect life, not end it... even a life. In the womb, the baby reacts to enviromental stimuli and shares many of the physiological features that define human life. Furthermore, most mothers who had an abortion suffer a great deal of mental and/or physical anguish due to their "choice". Abortion is a "choice" that very few people can feel good about. Teach children to respect sex and the responsibility that accompanies it. It makes better sense to prevent teen and unplanned pregnancies by not taking part in actions that cause pregnancy

I believe in a PAINFUL Death Penalty(something like a firing squad,hanging,gas chamber or the electric chair) for murderer's, rapist's and child molestors (after-all what they did to their victims wasn't painless therefore their death shouldnt be pain-free)
Capital punishment is about justice, not revenge. Laws and justice must be exercised more consistently. People who murder, or commit heinous crimes worthy of execution, have forfeited their rights to live in society. More importantly, why all the fuss about convicted criminals? Very rarely are the victim's families and friends considered in the punishment of the criminal. In fact, liberal institutions such as the ACLU have a love affair with criminals and rarely show support for their victims. There are a lot of hurting families out there.

Finally, I believe the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government.
